Course Description

The Accelerated 7th/8th grade Math course uses comprehension, precision, and application skills to learn mathematical concepts/processes. The primary objective of the course is to teach students to think like mathematicians who become well-informed, problem solving citizens. Students will examine concepts covered in the Big Ideas textbook. This course is rigorous in its pace and volume of content as it is a combination of all concepts covered in 7th and 8th grade.

Semester One: Equations, Transformations, Angles & Triangles, and Graphing & Writing Linear Equations
