Counseling
Student Services
At Kaleidoscope Academy, we know that students learn best when they feel supported, safe, and seen. Our dedicated Student Services Team—including professional school counselors, a social worker, and a school psychologist—works closely with students to nurture their social, emotional, and mental well-being.
By building strong, trusting relationships, we help students develop the skills and mindsets needed to navigate challenges, manage stress, and thrive. We believe in caring for the whole child, ensuring that each student is ready to learn at high levels while feeling confident and connected within our school community.
Counseling
The school counselor's role is to be a partner in maximizing student achievement through counseling support, collaboration of staff, parents/guardian, and local community, and working with the student in the areas of academic, personal/social, and career development.
Using a developmental counseling approach, the program emphasizes a proactive, facilitative, and collaborative framework to access how students are different as a result of the school counseling program. School counselors use and collect data to assess achievement, progress, and program and services.
Counselors work with students in the classroom, in small groups and individually, to help insure maximum learning and growth.
