Toni GiebelMrs. Giebel

Mrs. Giebel is an eighth grade math and science teacher at Kaleidoscope Academy. She grew up in Stevens Point, WI and attended UW-Stevens Point where she earned an Elementary Education degree. After college, Mrs. Giebel taught elementary school for four years before deciding that middle school was where she wanted to be!

Mrs. Giebel moved to Appleton in 2010, where she began teaching at Roosevelt. She was excited to make the switch to Kaleidoscope Academy and enjoys coming to school each day. She is happy to say that she found her dream job teaching 8th grade math and science!

Aside from teaching, Mrs. Giebel loves spending time with her husband and 2 sons. She also enjoys coaching and playing volleyball, teaching any kind of dance, and doing any outdoor activities like hiking or riding her bike!

Amy LahvicMrs. Lahvic

Mrs. Lahvic is the 8th grade Kaleidoscope Academy teacher who teaches U.S. History and English/Language Arts. She has been with the Appleton Area School District since 2012. 

Mrs. Lahvic was born in Dover, Delaware and moved to Appleton at age 11 where she attended Roosevelt Middle School.  She later met her husband and married him in 2005. She has 2 wonderful children!

Mrs. Lahvic graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in History and her Master’s degree in Technology Education from Marion University.

In her spare time she likes to spend quality time with her husband and 2 boys.  She also enjoys spending time exploring the outdoors. She is excited to be a part of a committed and dedicated staff at Kaleidoscope Academy.
