Clubs
Kaleidoscope offers a variety of clubs for all students 6-8th grades. Many of our clubs run through the Boys and Girls Club, so please make sure to sign up for the Boys and Girls Club here.
Below is a list of clubs offered at Kaleidoscope Academy. Some clubs are seasonal, others year-round, based on staff availability and student interest.

Ski Club – Hit the slopes with fellow snow lovers and enjoy winter adventures at local ski resorts. Sign-ups will start in October - keep your eyes open for a message from Mr. Larsh.
Chess Club – Challenge your mind and opponents in a strategic game of kings, queens, and clever moves.
Dungeons and Dragons – Dive into epic quests and imaginative storytelling with this classic tabletop role-playing game.
Magic the Gathering Club – Build powerful decks and battle it out with fellow planes walkers in this fantasy card game.
KA Kitchen – Cook, share, and explore new recipes in a welcoming space for food lovers. Need to be connected to Boys and Girls Club to participate.
Gaming Club – Connect with other gamers to play and talk about everything from retro games to the latest releases.
Art Club – Explore creativity through painting, drawing, and mixed media in a supportive, inspiring environment.
Forensics Club – Practice public speaking, debate, and performance while building confidence and communication skills. Recruitment starts in October/November - keep an eye out for Forensics on the announcements!
Student Support Club – Foster a caring community where students uplift and advocate for one another.
Robotics Club – Design, build, and code robots while solving real-world challenges through teamwork and innovation. Need to be connected to the Boys and Girls Club to participate.
Improv Club – Sharpen your wit and acting skills through fun, spontaneous theater games and scenes.
Drama Club – Get involved in all aspects of theater, from acting and directing to stage design and production.
Student Council – Represent your classmates, plan events, and help shape the school’s future through student leadership.
Principal's Cabinet – Work directly with school leadership to discuss student concerns and propose positive changes.
Sources of Strength – Promote wellness and resilience by sharing positive messages and supporting mental health initiatives.
Running Club – Stay active, set goals, and enjoy the camaraderie of group runs and fitness challenges. Will need a permission slip to participate - Runs in September to early October.
Weightlifting Club – Build strength, improve technique, and support each other in achieving fitness goals in the gym! Will need a permission slip to participate - Runs after Winter Break.
Intramural Soccer – Join a fun, low-pressure environment to play soccer, stay active, and enjoy friendly competition. Will need a permission slip to participate - Runs in February/March.
Intramural Volleyball – Bump, set, and spike your way through fun matches with friends in a relaxed, team-oriented setting. Will need a permission slip to participate - Runs in May.
