Fine Arts

Kaleidoscope Academy offers Fine Arts opportunities to students throughout the year.

In addition to the great classes we have offered (see electives) we also typically put on a theatrical performance each fall and a musical each spring.

Show Choir

Show Choir is an auditioned choir open to grades 6-8 that meets before school at 7 am 2-3 times a week. Auditions are held in the beginning of the year, and then the fun begins! This is a choir that sings and dances at the same time.

Students in Show Choir have the opportunity to perform at concerts and other various events. Students interested in taking Show Choir must be in a music class during the regular school day at KA. Students will learn music from genres throughout history, and will learn a variety of dances. Sometimes they will be partner dances; other times, they will be dancing as a large group without partners. This is a fun way to wake up and get your body moving in the morning before school starts!

Jazz Band

Students develop their musical skills while exploring jazz styles, improvisation, and ensemble performance in a fun, supportive environment. Performances include school concerts and community events.

Finesse Girls Acapella Group

This audition-based group empowers girls to sing contemporary and classic songs in harmony, building confidence and vocal skills while performing at various school and community functions.

Boys Choir

Open to all boys who love to sing, this choir focuses on vocal technique and teamwork while performing a variety of music for school concerts and events.

Show Choir

Combining singing, dancing, and performance skills, Show Choir allows students to perform energetic musical numbers and build stage presence for audiences throughout the year.

Play

Students can participate in acting, stage crew, and production roles as they bring a dramatic play to life for the KA community.

Musical

This exciting opportunity lets students showcase their singing, acting, and dancing talents while working as a team to perform a full-scale musical production.

Improv Club

Students practice quick thinking and creativity through improvisation games and activities, building confidence and collaboration in a supportive environment.

Art Club

Art Club gives students the chance to explore creative projects beyond the classroom, using a variety of materials and techniques to develop their artistic skills.
