Athletics

Kaleidoscope Academy is proud to offer many co-curricular options. Athletics start for our 7th and 8th graders, while other clubs and extracurricular options are available for all students.

Athletics are a great way to connect with classmates and get involved with the Kaleidoscope community. Being part of a team also helps develop lifelong skills such as teamwork and time management.

Many athletic teams and clubs meet after school. To accommodate family and religious events all activities end before 5:30 on Wednesday evenings.

Spring Sports

Track – Boys and Girls 7th and 8th Grade

Visit the Track and Field website here.

Track and Field is open to both boys and girls in 7th and 8th grade each spring beginning near the end of March and continuing through mid-May. Success for the track and field student athlete is measured by personal improvement from meet to meet and throughout the entire season.

Coaches stress proper fundamentals in all of the events. We encourage all athletes to try new events in practice and in meets because one never knows what they will enjoy. Athletes have the opportunity to participate in team and individual events such as long jump, high jump, shot put, and discus; running events include sprints, hurdles, medley relays and long distance (800, 1600 meters).
